RTCNA2015 wrap up

RTCNA is over, and what a great time we all had! Huge thanks to the great speakers I got to work with. And the great team we have at RTC. And lastly, a MASSIVE thank you to Aaron Maller at ParallaxTeam, for showing folks what the Px Tools can do, down in the trenches of a real world implementation.
If you attended Aaron’s class and have any questions, or just want to start a dialog talking about your specific needs, lets talk. We can start with an email and move on to a GoToMeeting, perhaps with your IT team, to dig into the nitty gritty.

As for the beta testing that was also going on, I discovered that some vendors ship their machines with some, um, impediments to automation. PowerShell is Microsoft’s solution for administering servers. It is a pretty darn robust and secure platform, so I don’t exactly understand why anyone would default to roadblocks there, but none the less I have some work to do identifying exactly what the problems are and how to address them. Over the next few weeks I will be working on tightening up the code revisions that made the Jobs functionality possible, and polishing those new features, and hopefully beta testing in an office or two in the very near future. Stay tuned!
